Marina von Stackelberg

About Marina

Marina von Stackelberg is a senior reporter currently working for CBC's Parliamentary Bureau in Ottawa. She previously worked as a reporter and host in Winnipeg, with earlier stints in Halifax and Sudbury. Her stories regularly appear across the country on CBC Radio and CBC News Network.

Marina was born and raised in northern Ontario. She loves travelling, the arts, and spending time outdoors. She also likes to teach her cat tricks.

CBC Parliamentary Bureau (September 2021, July 2022-present)

File daily to national television and radio programs on breaking, developing, and enterprise stories. Frequently hit on News Network and Power & Politics. 

CBC National Toronto Bureau (December 2021-January 2022)

Regularly led the The National, World Report and The World At Six reporting on the Omicron surge across Canada. Combined multiple press conferences and medical interviews from across the country to create succinct stories. Did daily debriefs on The National.
